I began my path of graphic arts at an early stage in my life. My father was a skilled caricature artist, and he started teaching me art when I could first hold a pencil. My first encounter with digital graphics was at age ten in 1985 with the Commodore Amiga computer. Back then, the Amiga was at the forefront of design and used for editing all major movies throughout the 80’s and early 90’s. I spent many years learning the Amiga’s design software which closely resembled Adobe Photoshop today. Eventually this led me to pursue a career in graphic design.
In 1999, I was taught web design in college using the now long discontinued Adobe Pagemill. I spent many years learning to become self-taught in Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash, and have also learned HTML and CSS. The past few years I have spent a lot of time working with Wordpress including the Woocommerce platform.
Currently I work at DOW Electronics as a graphic designer. I cover the full gamut of design ranging from print and digital ads, websites, email marketing, logo creation, branding, store signage, video editing, photography, apparel, package design, and much more.
